One of the best times of the week is when Kelsey and I head off for fresh vegetables in the Old Town Farmers Market. It’s fall so the apples are wonderful but the corn is disappearing. I thought last week was the last but there was corn this week, altho I saw some worm holes. We had a wonderful time, we have a wonderful time every week. Time goes by too, too fast.
The shot below is one of Kelsey’s favorite places! The couple hand makes their chocolates and they are awesome! They have many flavors and Kelsey pretty much loves them all but I think her favorite is the “free sample.” You can also visit them on line at Fleurir Chocolate.
This shot is on the dock next to the Potomac. Kelsey’s hat was knitted by a lady at the Market. She had egg plants, strawberries, and blueberries. Kelsey, being a very large fan of purple chose the egg plant.
The wind was blowing and I thought the weather was perfect–light was good and skies were partly cloudy. Kelsey was cold but didn’t say a word.
And the last was just overhead. Kelsey was worried that they’d end up creating a bit of a mess on us. But they were more interested in posing.
