My name is Joshua. Ummm, sorry….

When we were in the desert we went on a quest for the perfect Joshua tree. We weren’t really “OUT” in the desert since we were sort of still in town but the town is actually in the middle of the desert. You can get a better feel for our surroundings by checking our GPS […]

OK, I’m gonna try this again. Your comment thingy doesn’t like me today. Tells me an error happened; try again. Had to laugh when I submitted it again and it said, “well, golly, we think you said that already!” Hysterical! Anyway, the gist of it was: great picture! Yes, they are unique and I still hate them. The good news is that they are all dying…….slowly. I won’t miss them!

OK…..they’re unique but still the ugliest excuse for a tree that I ever saw!! You’ll notice they’re all dying. Something about the environment doesn’t agree with them anymore. I won’t miss them! Nice picture, though. You captured all their ugliness perfectly! 🙂

A Step Back In Time…

Friends who I had not seen since 1967 came to visit. He was the lead guitar player in the rock band that I played in during the 60s. Wow, talk about memories. We listened to our “record” from 1966–a 45rpm that had been converted to a CD. Neither of us has the original–sad. They had […]

What a treat!! I’m so happy for you!

Striking A Pose and the band “Entropy” at the Mahe Restaurant

One evening in Dana Point we went to a very popular restaurant, Mahe, that was across the street from the main tourist places on the water. We were hoping for good food and we were in luck–the food was great and the service was good, too. The place was jumping with music, conversation, people just […]

Nice set of “sticks”, as Donny would say! Not the drummer…..the pretty young lady. The band didn’t ask you to sit in? They must be unaware of your fame with the guitar!! 😉

Peachy at Farmer’s Market

Kelsey and I were back at the Market after a several month absence. It was hot–at 8:00 the temperature was already 90. Kelsey went to the Ashton Farms stand where this young lady was cutting peaches for folks to sample. While Kelsey tried the different types, I took pictures. I loved the bright red hair, […]

[…] to the Farmers’ Market again; Kelsey and I went to the Ashton Farms stand again (picture of Ada Ashton on July 25). Their peaches are awesome. They also have other fruit but I can’t seem to tear myself away […]

Of course you should have taken the shot!! I LOVE seeing your pictures! You have a real knack for finding pretty young girls, I see. Thanks for the explanation about the privacy thing. Now I don’t have to wonder about it! Do we suspect that this is an Irish lass? Red hair, freckles, etc. Sure looks Irish! Maybe she can give Kyle some more dancing lessons!! 🙂 Keep up the postings! I’ll be back soon. Love ya!!

Ready, Set, Pose….

So…we were at SeaWorld. The family was in line for a ride that I wasn’t interested in riding, so I was wandering about. I was taking shots across a waterway of a man with a pack of dogs when just feet away from me, a young woman began posing for another young woman and then […]

3 people….. every once in awhile. 🙂

Lee - July 25, 2011 - 7:06 am

If people are out and about, they have no reasonable expectation of privacy and so you don’t need their permission to take and display their photos. Generally speaking, you can’t sell their likeness without their permission. Sometimes I ask, most times I don’t. In this shot, I did not ask, in the one above at the Farmer’s Market, I did.

If someone sees their photos on my sites and asks that it be taken down, I would honor their request. But no one ever has. Probably because there are only two people on the planet that visit the site! Thanks for being one of them.

Very pretty girl! Like you, I’m fond of the beat up old tree. Question? If you post pix of people on this site, do you have to ask their permission? Just wondering. And should you have taken the shot? Who in the world could stop you????? Big Smile!
