Someday when I win the lottery, I’m gonna get a camera that will take close ups like yours! I think the macro function on this dumb Nikon I’ve got has gone south. Love the BEE!! Such a beautiful clear snap!! Have to admit I’m having a bit of trouble finding the teensy spider web. Probably my eyes! Gorgeous rosebud, though. Looks like a First Prize rose.

Springtime Hawk

Sitting on the back deck in 80 degree weather in March!! Who would think this was possible. The birds (and the pollen) are out in force. I took my camera out to see if I could capture some of the woodpeckers but instead found this Red Tailed hawk. Amazing.

We had a ladder backed woodpecker trying to steal nectar out of the hummer feeder for a couple of days. I think he actually got a little bit but he hasn’t been back for a while now. Nice snap of the hawk! Look out bunnies & mousies!!
