Volley Ball Champ!!

So I haven’t really done a sports event yet. Well, until today. A friend’s daughter was participating in a volley ball tournament at the DC Convention Center. There were hundreds, if not thousands, of girl volley ball players. They took up the entire Hall B and the chaos was complete—except on each of the 40 […]

Thank you!

ASTOUNDING action shots, Bro!! Loved the music! How do you manage to find just the right songs for these slide shows? Never heard that one before but then I’m a little behind on current music. I agree with Kristen…..if I were a parent, I’d be asking to hire you, too!!

So awesome Lee!! These are so great and I love the music choice. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!! Parents are already asking if your can be “hired out”!

New Baby Photos!!!

Some friends of ours just welcomed a baby boy into their family and gave me an opportunity to practice my hobby. I had a lot of fun! The little guy was only a few days old and he stayed alert and seemed to watch me like a hawk. The big sister was having a blast […]

Just the lighting through the window in their living room. Mid day but sort of cloudy so was great.

Hey Lee, Great Job! The little guy was pretty alert for 1 week. I loved the selective focusing. What lens did you use? The only thing I would do is turn some of them into B&W to get rid of the backgrounds. Everybody loves B&W photos, especially for the baby photos. You are a fantastic photographer! I am very proud of your achievement. Keep it up! Luvu

That’s a good peekaboo shot but baby boy looks sleepy to me! Must just be the newness of him! Nice to see a newborn in something other than a onesy!! Great pix, Bro!! Lighting was really good! Was it a set up or just the room?

Learning Lens Stuff

I have decided that I need to focus (heh, heh) on just one lens until I get absolutely comfortable with that particular lens. Doesn’t mean that I won’t snap something on that’s different, just that my constantly on lens will be the same thing for days, maybe weeks, and that I will carry my camera […]

Now….that one is like the original top hat one! It has that warm glow. Good catch on that one!

West Springfield High School “Seventies Show”

Weeks ago I went to a Musical – Theatrical Show at WSHS put on by the various choruses (or is that chorusi?) and theater groups. I very much enjoyed it. Of course, the music had a completely different meaning/ambience for me since I think I actually lived part of it. Sigh. The light was awful. […]

Hey Lee, thanks for the shout out! I appreciate it. You’ve got some nice theater shots here. The high ISO doesn’t show at all on the web images. Have fun going through the rest!

The clothing looks very familiar!! The lighting doesn’t look that bad. I can see everybody and they aren’t overly lit up! Have fun sorting thru HUNDREDS! Good job, Bro!

Santa Clause! Indianapolis Circle of Lights Festival

Three years ago my sister-in-law & mentor in Indianapolis asked me to help her take photos of the Circle of Lights. I signed up with eagerness! So…there I am with a press pass going in places only techies and actors can go! I had a blast but I have to admit that it was a […]

The one of Santa is amazing! It’s quite probably my favorite ever Santa portrait. Really great job!

Chris - December 4, 2010 - 10:07 am

I think serious photography is too complicated for me so I’ll leave it to you! All those numbers! But that’s a fantastic shot of the fireworks, however you did it! I’m partial to the pix of the kids and Diane but the Santa one is fantastic! Great job!

Brent & Rae Leigh, Engaged with Wedding In A Year!

They were fun to photograph and they were extraordinarily patient with the weather and conditions at the shoot. We’d picked a beautiful park but we didn’t get to pick the weather. If you look closely at some of the shots, you can see vertical streaks which are really just raindrops pelting the two of them. […]
