Air Rifle

Kyle had his first air rifle training last week. He had a great time. The instructor talked him through the rules, regulations, safety, etc., and then how to operate the rifle. He picked up the skillset quickly and was shooting mostly black on the first attempt. He could have stayed all night but I was […]

That’s great that he gets to learn this particular skill! Nice scope on that rifle!! I got pretty good with ours in Gila Bend! Fed the quail….got tons of ground squirrels with them. After that came the blasted snakes. Squirrels are goners!!

Wet Fields, No Games, But Pictures!

This was the official opening weekend for our community little league, but April Showers….. Opening ceremonies cancelled last night and most of the games today including Kyle’s. He has traveled around and has […]

How sweet of those folks to put jackets on their horsies!! Diane always did have a thing for horses. It runs in the female side of the family! They say to get a horse to know you quickly, exhale gently into its nostrils. Then the horse knows everything it needs to know about you! Learned that from an ol’ trainer at the Fairgrounds behind the house in Xenia. Glad you had a great road trip and, as always, I love the photos!

Happy New Year !!

Kelsey and I went on an adventure to Occoquan, a small village about 10 miles south. I used to cook down there and we went to the place I cooked. Different name, different owners but they are still doing some Belgian so I at least recognized the cuisine. We had a brunch that was chocolate […]
