Kirsten is home so all five of us headed for Old Town for the annual lighting of the Christmas Tree, but actually to hear the WSHS Madrigals sing…one of Kelsey’s friends is in the Madrigals. And they were great. The city square was packed with people laughing, singing, and having a good time…sort of an old fashioned holiday scene. After the Madrigal Singers, some of the actors from a local theater did the Fizziwig scene from “The Christmas Carol” so there was old fashioned dancing and probably some wassailing in there, too. Santa and Mrs. Clause were introduced by the mayor and officiated over the lighting ceremony. All is well in Alexandria.
