To take time together (alliteration alert) is an easy pleasure we don’t often squeeze into our schedules. On Monday and Tuesday (today), we had sort of a date weekend interrupted only by the comings and goings of the kids…but they did have school both days. We didn’t plan anything, took it easy and just enjoyed each other’s company. We did go to Bastille in Old Town. Probably our favorite restaurant, the food is good, the service is very-very good.  They are expanding and so will clone a new Bastille in January, we aren’t sure about that. Our “old” favorite, Restaurant Eve, didn’t survive the expansion. But then, maybe things come and go. This is a shot down the bar taken from the place we like to sit.
