At some point, I am not going to have a built-in model availability. Although I intellectually understand and have come to grips with that fact, I don’t like the idea. A couple of weeks ago on an Alexandria walkabout on a sultry, humid day, Kelsey and I stopped by the Masonic Washington Memorial to get a view down King Street. She posed for me with Old Town in the background. Whenever I go to that hill and look out, I am reminded of an old photo showing the 44th NY State Militia campsite at the foot of Shuter’s Hill. Shuter’s Hill is the present day site of the Washington Masonic National Memorial.
