I am a target shooter and the place I shoot is, rather was, in the country. But the rolling hills and green swaths of trees are disappearing. Being plowed down and turned into lots for mini-mansions. I guess that’s okay. I don’t see the opposite happening anytime soon so I guess we should hurry up and enjoy these moments of rolling green. I wonder how long the new residents will tolerate gunshots echoing through the woods. Or maybe since there won’t be any woods, there won’t be any echoes. Progress.
