A Family Walkabout

A really nice walkabout day. Kyle, Kelsey and I started with breakfast in Old Town with our friend Bob. We bought an apple pie at the farmer’s market and made a quick trip south to give said pie to a friend who is “hip-less” and supposedly semi-shut-in. Not so fast…we find her working hard…standing up and feeling quite hip about herself. This despite being without at least half a hip! She probably is suffering today! Back to Old Town to pick up Diane who had been rehearsing. We found a parking spot next to a river park and that’s where we started. The weather wasn’t too miserably hot and humid and many were out enjoying this best kind of summer day. Of course, I want to ask people about themselves but am not sure enough of myself to do that so I unobtrusively take photos. The young lady was under the vigilant watch of her dog. The young man restlessly turning in his hammock. Just a few feet from one another. I wonder if they talked to each other. I wondered where he was from…was he homeless or on a grand cross country adventure. Had he played his guitar in the park for all to hear or was he in the streets the night before?Alert SentryVery public bedroom
