Spring Is Here, The Fox Are Back

For many years our deck has been the first home for a fox family. The baby “kits” are born under the deck and then romp around on the deck and behind the fence. They are really a kick to watch, they are all puppy with a mix of kitten like cute. This year, we apparently have two families, with eight kits, maybe nine. Diane can’t keep track of all of their comings and goings and I can’t get them to pose. The closest thing to a pose I got was these two sleeping. Even though I had my camera on “Quiet” the shutter sound woke the top fox up. He looked at me, yawned, got up and stood over his sibling. Then he sauntered away which woke up the smaller one. He took one look at the camera and ran quickly down the hill. We are glad to see the fox, means we don’t have coyotes yet.Fox, well actually "Kits"
