Actually, the day was more of a “Boat About.” We boarded the “Pirate Cruise” at the Alexandria Harbor. The boat went under the Wilson Bridge (twice, obviously) and then a little ways north of Alexandria but not as far as Bolling. I think we turned around at the sewage plant. I shot many of the bridge and a few of the general shoreline of which this is one. I will post more tomorrow, or the next day, or…  The tour narrator said that if we looked to shore (and he pointed at this complex), we’d be able to see Black Beard looking down at us as his body looked for this head. Or something like that. What I saw was the mass of windows reflecting the river at high noon. The sun was bright, the skies crystal blue. Arghhhh!
